Delta Air Lines will launch twice-daily nonstop service between Los Angeles and Vancouver starting November 21, reviving a route the airline hasn't operated since 2018.

The Airbus A319 flights will connect Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) with Vancouver International Airport (YVR), giving Southern California travellers convenient access to Vancouver as an outdoor, cruise, and winter-sports destination. For Vancouver residents, the route opens direct access to Los Angeles's business, entertainment, and cultural offerings plus Delta's broader network.

"The addition strengthens Delta's growing international network from LAX while giving Southern California customers convenient access to one of North America's most popular year-round destinations," said Delta communications representative Chelsea Wollerson.

According to the Vancouver Airport Authority, this will be Delta's only direct route from Los Angeles to a Canadian airport. The service aligns with continued demand for travel between British Columbia and Southern California.

Passengers will have access to free Delta Sync Wi-Fi and seatback entertainment through Delta Studio. The route arrives amid a busy period for YVR expansion: Air Canada announced seasonal service to Mazatlán starting December 15 and new winter flights to Sapporo beginning this winter, while Flair Airlines launches weekly service to Mexico's Bajío region starting October 3.
