Netflix has added four new B.C.-filmed titles to its "Netflix in Your Neighbourhood" interactive map, revealing filming locations behind some of the platform's biggest productions.
Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2 was filmed across the province, including Vancouver, North Vancouver, Surrey, and Squamish. Specific locations visitors can explore include Britannia Mine Museum, Kawartha Dairy Farm, Mount Seymour, and the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden.
Voicemails for Isabelle, a new rom-com series set in San Francisco, was filmed in Vancouver, Langley, and New Westminster. The film follows Jill after her sister's passing as she leaves voicemails chronicling her life, only to learn her sister's phone number was reassigned. Production locations include Bâtard Bakery, Grandview Park, Fiorino, and David Lam Park.
Remarkably Bright Creatures, based on a bestselling novel, is a heartfelt drama following a widow who forms a bond with a Giant Pacific Octopus at the Vancouver Aquarium. Filming took place across Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Lions Bay, Maple Ridge, and Richmond, at locations including Blue Canoe Waterfront Restaurant, Bufala, and the Deep Cove Government Dock.
Million Dollar Secret is a B.C.-filmed competition series now with a second season of strategy, deception, and high-stakes challenges. Production chose locations in Kelowna and Lake Country in the Okanagan, including Glacier National Park, Château Okanagan, Okanagan Adventure Park, and local wineries.
