UNIQLO is opening its first downtown Vancouver store at CF Pacific Centre, with the location slated for spring 2027. The store would be the Japanese retailer's seventh in B.C.

The space sits in the former Nordstrom premises at Pacific Centre, which Cadillac Fairview, the mall's owner, is redeveloping. UNIQLO joins Aritzia and Simons, both expected in the same redevelopment. Simons is scheduled to open in fall 2027, and Aritzia's opening, initially targeted for 2027, is now tentatively placed in 2028 by Cadillac Fairview.

In a statement Monday, Cadillac Fairview said UNIQLO's new flagship "will bring its signature LifeWear philosophy to the heart of the city." Lillian Tummonds, the company's senior vice-president of retail, said the three brands would bring "energy and excitement" to downtown.

Cadillac Fairview's statement did not give the cost or lease terms for the UNIQLO store, and no exact opening date within spring 2027 has been announced.
