Calgary police are searching for two suspects after three parked vehicles were damaged outside a northeast Calgary home on Friday, June 12, in what investigators believe is the latest incident in an extortion series targeting the city's South Asian community.
The suspects smashed the vehicles outside a home on Skyview Parkway near Cityspring Gate NE around 5:15 a.m., then fled in a grey Ford Expedition, police said.
The same home was struck in an extortion-related shooting on March 4. Police are examining links between the two events as part of a broader investigation tied to extortion targeting the South Asian community.
Police are searching for two suspects: one wearing a black jacket, black pants, and white shoes; the other in a coral hoodie, black jacket, blue jeans, and black shoes with a green logo. The suspect vehicle is a grey Ford Expedition.
