A woman in her 60s is in life-threatening condition after being struck by a school bus Thursday around 3 p.m. near the intersection of 162 Avenue and Sixth Street S.W. in Somerset.
First responders initially assessed the injuries as not serious and took the woman to hospital as a precaution. Her condition worsened after the initial assessment, and her injuries are now considered life-threatening. Two children were on the bus at the time of the collision; both were uninjured. The bus driver remained at the scene.
