A woman is in life-threatening condition after being struck by a vehicle in downtown Calgary early Wednesday morning.
Police received reports of the collision near Centre Street and 5 Avenue SW at around 1:30 a.m. Emergency Health Services transported the woman to hospital in life-threatening condition. Roads on 5 Avenue between Centre Street and 1 Street were closed but reopened at around 5:30 a.m.
Police have not provided information about the driver or their whereabouts.
