Station Park has a new food concept for summer: Stationed, a rotating residency that will host different culinary themes for limited runs, then move on to the next.

The space, at 8115 Gateway Boulevard NW, was previously home to Epic Market until it closed earlier this year due to foot traffic and parking challenges. Now this June, a whole new food hall is taking over.

The first series celebrates Japanese cuisine, with five Edmonton restaurants participating: Dorinku, Japonais, Menya Mori, Hello Mochi, and Pablo Cheese Tart. Together they're bringing Tokyo street food, ramen, mochi, and cheese tarts under one roof for a limited run.

The food hall opens Thursday, June 11, with hours from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday through Sunday (6 p.m. opening on the first day). "Catch it while it's here," the team wrote on Instagram. "What comes next is already in the works."

The concept leans into the neighbourhood's appetite for curated dining experiences. Each series will have a different theme and lineup, keeping the space fresh and giving local restaurants a chance to collaborate and experiment without a permanent commitment. It's the kind of food-hall flexibility Old Strathcona's younger crowd gravitates toward.
