The Royal Canadian Mint has released two versions of a new $1 FIFA World Cup 2026 commemorative coin—a colourized edition and a non-colourized edition—now in circulation across Canada. Designed by Canadian artist Glen Green, the coin commemorates Canada's role as co-host of the tournament alongside the U.S. and Mexico this summer. Toronto and Vancouver are among 16 cities hosting matches from June 11 to July 19. Canadians may find the coins in their change or purchase them directly from the mint.
