A 44-year-old man from Spruce Grove died early Thursday after his SUV struck a stationary construction platform on westbound Highway 16 just west of Edmonton.
The collision happened around 2:42 a.m. near the Highway 60 overpass. Parkland RCMP say the man was driving west when his vehicle hit the scissor lift work platform.
