Emergency crews battled a two-alarm fire that engulfed a multi-unit bungalow in Scarborough on Sunday afternoon, displacing residents though no injuries were reported.

Firefighters arrived at 130 Ellesmere Road to find heavy flames and smoke pouring from the structure. One woman was assessed at the scene and declined hospital transport.

Crew members say they haven't yet been able to complete a full search of the dwelling, leaving unclear whether anyone else was inside. The fire did not spread to neighbouring structures. Fire officials are continuing their investigation into the cause.
