UP Express will not run for the whole Halloween weekend, Oct. 31 to Nov. 1. Trains between Downsview GO and Union Station are also out of service, with most scheduled trains replaced by shuttle buses. TTC Line 1 runs between Downsview Park and Union stations as an alternative.

The Stouffville Line has no closures this weekend, though planned construction may affect departure timing. Trains from Old Elm to Union run as scheduled, but southbound departures from Old Elm can be up to 27 minutes late. Replacement buses do not stop at Milliken, Agincourt or Kennedy GO.

Stratford and Kitchener GO travellers headed to the Highway 407 Bus Terminal have select replacement buses. The 11:34 p.m. train from Union to Mount Pleasant GO will not run; a GO bus stopping at every station from Union to Bramalea GO takes its place. Mount Pleasant to Mount Dennis GO and Allandale Waterfront to Downsview GO run on the regular schedule.

GO Transit's closures will pull two entire lines from service this weekend and reduce service on the network's busiest route. HighOnCity reported similar closures in July and September. The source does not say why these closures were scheduled or how many riders they affect.
