The TTC is introducing temporary service increases and route changes to manage World Cup crowds heading to Toronto Stadium, where matches take place starting this week.

Enhanced bus service includes the 29 Dufferin, 929 Dufferin Express, and a new temporary 829 Dufferin Gate Express offering non-stop service between Dufferin Station and the Dufferin Gate Loop on match days. Streetcar service on the 504 King, 509 Harbourfront, and 511 Bathurst will operate every five minutes all day.

The 510 Spadina streetcar will temporarily run only between Spadina Station and Queens Quay Loop, with riders transferring to the 509 Harbourfront to reach Union Station.

Subway service on Lines 1 and 2 will run later than usual on six World Cup match dates: June 12, 17, 23, July 2, 3, and 11.

The city is pushing a "transit-first" approach to keep traffic manageable as it expects over 300,000 out-of-town visitors throughout the tournament. Fans can reach the stadium via enhanced Harbourfront, Bathurst, Dufferin, and King routes depending on where they're travelling from.
