Pho Net Viet coming to Aberdeen Centre as Hazukido Cafe+ closes in Richmond
A new Vietnamese restaurant is opening at Aberdeen Centre in Richmond, replacing the French-Japanese croissant bakery chain that closed its location in June.

Pho Net Viet, a new Vietnamese restaurant promising "authentic Vietnamese cuisine," will open at Aberdeen Centre in Richmond, taking over the space vacated by Hazukido Cafe+ in June.
Hazukido, a Taiwan-based French-Japanese-style croissant bakery chain, opened its first Vancouver location in Yaletown in 2022, specializing in Japanese-inspired croissants. In 2024, the company expanded to Richmond's Aberdeen Centre, serving sweet and savoury croissants alongside afternoon tea and lunch sets. The Yaletown location closed that same year, and the Richmond location ceased operations on June 14.
Signage for Pho Net Viet is already posted on the windows of the former Hazukido space. No opening date has yet been set for the Vietnamese restaurant.
