The bakery occupies the space previously held by Footo Croissant and Dulcey Patisserie, in a neighbourhood that has seen significant cafe and patisserie churn in recent years.
The team is serving a selection of specialty salt bread — fluffy, lightly salted pastries filled with seasonal flavours like mocha and matcha cream, ham and cheese, and other rotating varieties. Beyond the bread, they're offering coffee and matcha drinks, including an iced mango matcha latte.
The bakery launched with a soft opening on Friday, July 10, staying modest about its readiness. "Since it's our very first time, we might be a bit clumsy and our menu might be a little limited for now," the team wrote on social media. "While we wanted to wait until everything was absolutely perfect, we just couldn't wait any longer to say hello to our neighbors."
The menu is expected to expand beyond its current limited selection. The team is open daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is actively seeking customer feedback as it settles in. Salt bread has become a signature treat in Vancouver in recent months, drawing lineups and devoted followers.
