Canada faces Switzerland on Wednesday, June 24, at BC Place with a chance to win Group B and stay in Vancouver for knockout-round matches. If you don't have a stadium ticket, dozens of venues across the city are showing the game.

The biggest official watch parties are at the FIFA Fan Festival at Hastings Park in East Vancouver, which drew massive lines for Canada's last game, and Canada Soccer House at the Shipyards in North Vancouver. The festival features a newly built Freedom Mobile Arch amphitheatre with some ticketed seats (nearly sold out) and free standing-room-only space at the front—likely to fill completely given the match's importance.

Granville Island has seating for up to 1,000 with a big screen, while Jack Poole Plaza will host TSN pundits and likely draw crowds for that reason.

Venues near BC Place include Batch on the seawall near the Plaza of Nations, Parq Casino with a 50-foot screen, and Boston Pizza's "World Cup House" (400 seats, walk-up and reserved). Yaletown's Pitchside Patio at Earls will be set up in the street, with most neighbourhood restaurants and pubs showing the game loudly enough to hear outside.

Downtown, Canada Square at the Library Square Pub will have wall-to-wall screens inside and a huge screen outside (tickets start at $30 with beer included). Junction Public Market at Granville's north end offers free viewing surrounded by food stalls and is dog-friendly.

For those wanting a big screen and comfy seat, the Vogue on Granville Street is showing the game with free, VIP ($50), and table seating ($25). The Hollywood Theatre in Kitsilano will have free community viewing with food and drink specials. Cineplex theatres in International Village, Riverport (Richmond), and Coquitlam are also showing the match.

Rec Room, Partee Putt, and Dublin Calling (still has spots for $30) offer other downtown options. Red Card and Fable Diner, popular Canadian fan hangouts, have sold out reservations.

Further out, UBC has free screens at Norman Mackenzie Square, Richmond is hosting a community soccer festival at Thompson Community Park starting before noon, and Surrey's Civic Plaza will have a full fan experience with live music, games, and a beer garden. Burnaby's Amazing Brentwood will show the game on an outdoor screen for free, and Ladner is hosting its own free fan festival with an outdoor screen and global food options.
