A man is recovering in hospital after a targeted shooting in Port Moody on Saturday afternoon.
Police officers responded around 2:40 p.m. to a report of a shooting near Union Street and Barnet Highway. They found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He is now in hospital in stable condition.
Witnesses reported seeing a silver sedan fleeing the scene. Port Moody police Constable Sam Zacharias said: "Initial indications suggest this incident was targeted. We are asking anyone with information or dash camera footage from the area at the time of the incident to contact us."
