Shooting in Langley leaves one person critically injured
RCMP investigating incident near 196 Street and 28 Avenue; victim airlifted to hospital.
One person has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries following a shooting in Langley on Wednesday evening.
Langley RCMP responded to a report of a shooting near 196 Street and 28 Avenue just after 5 p.m. When officers, paramedics, and first responders arrived, they found one person in medical distress and transported them to hospital.
Police have not released details about the victim, a possible motive, or whether they are searching for suspects. "This investigation is in its infancy, and additional details will be made available at a later time," said Const. Meghan Marsden of Langley RCMP.
