Surrey Police Service is seeking former tenants of Balwinder Singh Bhandher, 48, after he was charged with one count of break-and-enter following an investigation that began in January.

The initial complaint came from a tenant who alleged Bhandher entered her suite without permission and inappropriately touched her clothing. A warrant was issued for his arrest on October 1, and Bhandher was arrested on October 14. He has been released with several conditions.

Bhandher had a basement suite for rent in a residence in the 13800 block of 66 Avenue in Surrey. Police say he may have been a landlord at a previous residence as well. The investigation is ongoing, and more criminal charges could be brought against Bhandher.

Surrey Police Service is asking anyone who rented from Bhandher and may have information to assist the investigation to contact them at 604-599-0502, quoting file 26-5005 (SP).

As HighOnCity reported in September, Bhandher was arrested in an ongoing investigation into a rental housing dispute that escalated into videos drawing over 1 million views on Instagram.
