Vancouver Police are seeking a suspect in a shoplifting incident at a convenience store in the West End where a pregnant employee was allegedly pushed during the suspect's escape.
The incident occurred September 10 at approximately 11:30 a.m. at a store near Davie and Thurlow Street. Police say a man stole merchandise from the store, and when a pregnant employee attempted to intervene, the suspect pushed her while making his escape.
VPD released CCTV images of the suspect on September 17. Police believe the same individual is responsible for a previous shoplifting incident at the same location. Police have not disclosed what was stolen or the value of the merchandise.
