Josh Ross is headlining Surrey Canada Day on July 1, bringing his award-winning country music to the Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre on the Cloverdale Fairgrounds. The first Canadian male country artist in nearly three decades to top the Billboard Country Airplay Chart, Ross shot to stardom in 2025 when his hit "Single Again" rocketed to No. 1 on U.S. country radio—a feat no male country artist had achieved since Paul Brandt in 1996.
The Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre serves as the main stage, with three additional stages scattered across the north end of the Fairgrounds. The Siam Stage will host indigenous performance and cultural sharing. A family-friendly entertainment stage will feature activities for children. The KPU Community Stage will showcase DJs, dance battles, and performances.
Opening acts include Lee Aaron, a Canadian rocker with a multi-decade career, and Tyler Shaw, a multi-platinum singer-songwriter. Other performers span genres and cultural traditions, from Dhol Nation Drummers to Brass Camel to indigenous dancers from Semiahmoo First Nations and Kwantlen First Nation.
Beyond entertainment, the festival features amusement rides, food trucks, a beer garden, an ice cream zone with free samples, and a large-scale soccer activity zone celebrating World Cup 2026. The night culminates in fireworks commencing at approximately 10:15 p.m.
The Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre is located on the Cloverdale Fairgrounds at 17728 64th Avenue. The main stage opens at 10:45 a.m., with performances running throughout the day. Josh Ross takes the stage at 9 p.m. For full artist schedules and activities across all four stages, visit surreycanadaday.ca.
